 2006 Pegasus Bay Aria Riesling Late Harvest. Benchmark New Zealand Medium Sweet Riesling. Nose of dark honey, think rata or rewarewa. Palate is full of home made preserved peaches and lemon zest giving a fresh edge. Creamy, silky texture. Very very impressive, with searching length. A head turner, conversation stopper. Seductive and mouth filling, wakes the taste buds. A sure thing in any company. Sets the bar. 101/109
