2006 Johanneshof Gewurztraminer. One of NZ’s top examples, and a entrant in our Wines of the Year last year. This is a sleek wine rampant with exotic Turkish delight and rose petal aromas. It has gained even more integration since last time I tried it. The palate is off dry and silky smooth with the Turkish Delight and Lychee flavours. Hedonistically flavoured with lovely fruit purity and poise. Classy, and great with Roast Pork or good Thai food. 95+/109
