 2005 Foxes Island Chardonnay. Nose displays grapefruit, vanilla and stony notes. On the palate flavours of melon, fig, grapefruit and marmalade together with hints of vanilla. Elegant, refined, well defined and integrated. The wine illustrates gorgeous concentration and definition of fruit. Both Lance and Craig had no question that this was the best Chardonnay we tasted at the show. We will buy. 97/109
