2007 Peregrine Charcoal Creek Riesling. In my opinion this is clearly the best of the trio of Rieslings on offer out of Peregrine. The nose is very deep set, integrated and restrained with notes of white peach and grapefruit. The palate is lively and vital dominated by refreshing flavours of grapefruit and marmalade. Great complexity and compelling veins of flavour ripple through the palate. It demonstrates great length of flavour and a silky smooth texture. Exceptional 97/109
