2005 Amisfield Rocky Knoll Riesling. Already starting to golden up a little, the nose displays lemon meringue pie, pavlova, vanilla and whisps of ripe lemon citrus. The palate is totally seamless and without edge with stain like texture, elegant control and understated presence. The flavours are melded with hints of ripe lime and bottled lemons, honey suckle and white peach. Hints of light creamed honey also float in and out of view. A thinkers Riesling with nothing obvious about this wine except its abundant class. Drink it on its own. Expensive at $35 but delivers a classy experience. 95/109
