 2004 Ata Rangi Pinot Noir. Although this vintage doesn’t have the textural element of some of the top Ata Rangi vintages of this wine the class of this label still showed through in spades. It is restrained and elegant displaying red plum fruit, refined slippery tannins and a long controlled and detailed finish. Perhaps a vintage to drink up reasonably soon. Intellectual and Burgundian. 96/109 |
